Vine Orchard, South Devon

Our team prepared the detailed planting drawings for Vine Orchard, a bespoke self-build development of seven plots in Ugborough, South Devon. The project aimed to create a cohesive and characterful landscape that complements the surrounding South Hams countryside while giving each plot its own identity.

The planting design focuses on a layered structure of native and ornamental species to enhance biodiversity, define boundaries, and provide seasonal interest throughout the year. Trees and shrubs were selected to frame views across the valley and soften new architecture within the rural setting. Herbaceous planting adds texture and colour, ensuring the development matures into a well-integrated and ecologically rich environment that reflects its beautiful landscape context.
