Crossways, Paignton

Space Landscape Architects are proud to be the landscape architects for the Crossways regeneration project in Paignton, led by Torbay Council. The scheme transforms the former Crossways Shopping Centre site into high-quality extra-care housing with new community facilities and a revitalised public realm.

Our landscape design focuses on creating welcoming, accessible outdoor spaces that connect the new development with the wider town centre. Planting, materials and green infrastructure have been designed to enhance wellbeing, biodiversity and social interaction, while reflecting the coastal character of Paignton.

Once complete, the project will provide a vibrant and inclusive setting for residents and visitors, turning a long-derelict site into a positive, people-focused place at the heart of the community.
